“What About Lunch?”

Where to begin…  I started a nail art blog but realized that there are so many other things to write about.  I will be writing about a range of topics, whether it be nail art and my favorite nail polishes of the moment, my love for basketball and the Golden State Warriors, or my journey going through Chronic Kidney Failure.  Basically, I wanted this to be a positive blog, filled with interesting stories, beautiful and creative creations/findings, and a blog that can be inspirational to others.  But for now, I’ll leave you with a creation of my own that I did this past week.  As you can see, I got a little impatient with the ring finger to dry.

For all of my nail art you can search for MissBeadyBabe on Instagram.

I’ll keep this short for now because Winnie the Pooh said it best:

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?”

    1. Hi Taylor,

I was reading your blog and I just want to say it’s such a wonderful thing that you are trying to spread awareness and inform people about kidney disease. What is your diagnoses exactly (the name of it)? I noticed that you are only 13 years old and I must say, it is a lot to go through at such a young age. I was diagnosed when I was 10 years old and have been dealing with kidney disease my entire life as well. Keep spreading awareness and keep up with your positive attitude, you’re going to be just fine 😉

  1. Hi! My kidney disease is called Nephronophthisis and it’s a rare genetic Kidney Disease. My mom and dad have the gene and passed it on to me and even though they both had it it’s still only a 1 in 4 chance of getting both genes and getting the disease. I have had it all my life and am at 25% kidney function and holding! The doctors thought I would be in Kidney Failure early this year. I hope to hear more about yours an when you get your Transplant. Good Luck and Keep Healthy!
